I’ve been an advocate of Robert Kiyosaki’s
Rich Dad principles of financial literacy
for a number of years.

In fact, I’m still surprised by the fact
that one of the fundamental Rich Dad
principles, specifically, knowing the difference
between and asset and a liability continues to be
ignored by those that I come into contact
with who are attempting to generate an online
income. 

For the uninitiated, Rich Dad says that

Assets put money in your pocket, while
Liabilities take money out of your pocket,
and that the rich buy assets, while the
poor and middle class buy liabilities that
they think are assets.

So here’s the deal…

ASSETS WORK for YOU.

YOU WORK for Liabilities.

Understanding this principle is key to
the profitability of your income
generation strategy, because it goes
right to the heart of why you may or
may not be making any money from your
online activities.

That said, here’s a question for you…

Out of all the money you’ve spent online,
have you spent any at all to grow your
asset base?

If not…isn’t it really time that you did?
